Very confused with all mixed reviews. Does this work with the iPad Air? It's Apple Certified right?
A: To my knowledge this is for laptops and desktop video connections. The mini display port is approximately the same port as the Thunderbolt port on newer macs. I don't believe iPads have Thunderbolt. They have Lightening Bolt connections or the much older USB connections. I've never seen a Lightening Bolt video adapter cable, but I've seen the older USB to VGA and DVI adapter cables for iPads.
